I thought some of you might want directions on how to make a fabric postcard. The directions on Red Shoe Ramblings are easy to follow. These photos, also from Red Shoe Ramblings, show the front and back of a postcard. They are so easy to make and a great way to try out new techniques. Once you’re done, just stick on a postage stamp and drop them into the mailbox. I’ve taken part in several postcard exchanges and  made some that were sent to soldiers serving in the military.

There is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way to make a fabric postcard. Do a Google search on fabric postcards and you’ll get a long list of sites. Go through some of them and see the different techniques that people have used in making their postcards. One of them may inspire you to try something new! Until next time.

Let’s go sew!
